[Note: The East Coast is getting pounded right now, and it sucks. But props to that dude in the horse mask for getting his run on anyway, right?]
Saturday was the 8th annual Halloween party my husband and I have thrown (or co-thrown, in the first year). Damn.
I'll cut the build up and jibber jabber because if you're like me, you just want to see the damn costume.

American Maid from The Tick. (The animated Tick).
Hand made (maid, har har har) by yours truly.

Zapp Brannigan (Futurama), aka my amazing husband.
Some of the highlight costumes:

A stunning Ursula costume.

Nerd costumes galore. Eleanor is exceptionally stunning as a Dalek.

Andrew the mutant.

Evil Abed,C3P0 R2D2 [shoot me now for that mistake, holy crap], and Clint Eastwood's chair (note: these are my movie club guys).

Super hot me, again.

My trainer tastes delicious.

So did the meat head.

I love Halloween so much, so very much.
If you dressed up this year, hit me up with pictures, because I love Halloween costumes, too, yo.

Gotta love the nerd costumes...they are my favorite i have to say...think next year I may be russian super man...ya comrade!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite out of all the costumes is the zap brannigan...I am embarrassed that I didnt think of that one myself!
SPOON!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI especially love the sexy tan line from the bike shorts.
That may be the hottest TARDIS I've ever seen. And that's a quality Brannigan costume too. So much fun!
Those costumes are outstanding. Gotta love it when people put some effort into the costumes. Have to say that meathead is frightening ... on many different levels. Good stuff.
ReplyDeleteDamnit, now I have to Google all these....... I need to get out more!
ReplyDeleteRose, that meat tray rocks!! See, I'm a Christmas person although I wish I could get some more Halloween in me. I have a Robin (Batmans small friend) costume that I wear every single year. Hell, I've even run a half marathon in it. You should see the sweat stains, it's kinda a running joke.
ReplyDeleteErm these are amazing but shhh *whisper* is he not R2D2 as opposed to C3PO?
ReplyDeleteI assume you, I feel the appropriate amount of shame for my error.
DeleteThat meat head is disgusting. And very cool. Your costume looks fantastic...I was glad for the captions, though, because I didn't get a lot of the costumes. I need to watch more TV/movies.
ReplyDeleteCute! I love Halloween!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know about the horsehead runner until I read it here. Thank you!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI just came to show you this picture. http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m6nr356Iyi1rzxcudo1_500.jpg
ReplyDeleteI will return at a later date to post a picture of my tampon costume! But I don't have a full-body pic, just the blood top part :(
Did you make that meat head? Amazing! And your friends are awesome - the costumes are great!
ReplyDeleteGreat costumes! Looks like a blast!
ReplyDeleteAdorable, I think you need to incorporate that costume into your daily wardrobe.
ReplyDeleteor run a race in it!
ReplyDeleteThe Ursula...really spectacular. Eastwood's chair is brilliant. You're just sexy, which I hear is how you're supposed to do halloween. I haven't dressed up in years....
ReplyDeleteEveryone has seriously awesome costumes - that Ursula is incredible! It's been a long time since I've seen people put that level of thought into a Halloween costume.
ReplyDeleteGreat costumes! We did a family trick or treat at a local college. And since hubby was home (for once) I had to make him a costume to go with mine and the girl's. I give you the Brave family: http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8195/8145987938_fd62af441e_c.jpg
ReplyDeleteLOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE.
