YOU GUYS are awesome. Thank you.
And, sometimes, words aren't enough. So, how about some free stuff?

HOLY CRAP WHAT IS ALL THAT STUFF????

That's a stainless steel Threadless(c) water bottle!!!!

Jane Fonda's Miniworkout. El-Oh-El. It was on clearance.

Three pairs of running socks.

Three pairs of knee socks! (Plus two that you can see in the big picture)
But wait, these are all lady-centric! To appease the (few) men who read (though, men, seeing your lady friends working out in nothing but knee socks? Should be reward enough, if you know what I mean).
So I'll throw in this:

Holy testicle Tuesday, look at all this stuff!

Can you tell I'm excited? (matches not included)

So, hopefully you're excited too.
Disclaimer: I bought all this stuff myself. Target is not sponsoring me in any way because they are bastards who do not realize how much money I spend on their socks every year.
This contest is open to everyone, everywhere, as long as you follow the rules.
Please leave a comment for every entry.
Entries:
1. (Mandatory) You must be a follower of my blog.
2. Post a link to this giveaway in your blog. Not Twitter, not Facebook, just your blog.
3. Tell me about the best Halloween costume you ever wore.
4. Post/link to a picture of that Halloween costume.
So, yeah, a total of four ways to enter.
This contest will close at midnight PST Monday, March 14th. The winner will be announced at some point after that.
GIVE ME THAT. I AM A FOLLOWER DUH.

ReplyDeleteI don't think I have a best Halloween costume. I was either a princess or Ghostface from Scream for years. The best costume I ever saw was a guy in college dressed up as anthrax. He wore a cardboard envelope addressed to Tom Brokaw and kept flour in his pocket. He stuck his had in his pocket before he shook hands with people and then yelled "you've got anthrax!" I miss college.
ReplyDeleteI follow your blog!
ReplyDeleteAlso, the best Halloween costume I ever saw was a guy dressed as a baseball coach with the name "Moe Lester" on the back. Classic.
ReplyDeleteI'm a follower and this is an AWESOME giveaway!
ReplyDeleteBest Haloween costume ever (not that it is even close to your fabulous outfits) was a transvestite hooker. That was complex... I can't find a picture anywhere which is unfortunate because it was a rather alarming outfit...
ReplyDeleteHaha, I love your socks! I am a follower, thanks for the giveaway!

Ok, post two: My best costume in my opinion was when I was a pregnant Britney Spears. BUT, other people tell me my best was American McGee's Alice (from the video game Alice - it's a much darker version.) Man, I just showed some nerdiness there.
ReplyDeleteOk, now your in my blog side bar. (I'll mention you in one of my next posts too.)

ReplyDeleteOh dear - I will try scrounge up a picture, but the albums are in a country on the other side of the world to me - on film.
ReplyDeleteI was a headless person!! I wore a HUGE men's shirt over my head and then carried a mannequin head and there was fake blood everywhere.
The best part was that a little kid saw me and STARTED CRYING! Hahahaha. His father got me to show him that my real head was truly stuck on until he stopped crying. It was the BEST

ReplyDeleteI haven't worn a halloween costume as an adult, but I wore my favorite costume when I was in junior high. I was an old hag. I went with curlers in my hair, a tattered robe, houseshoes, and put blackout on various teeth. Fun!!!

ReplyDeleteBest halloween costume. I've never been very good at them. Was it the year my friends and I all went as the Spice Girls? The most fun was definitely the ghoul in 10th grade. Probably the only one I have pictures of is this last year, when I went as a Solid Gold dancer... I'll post a link shortly

ReplyDelete1. I went as static cling once. Dress all in black and then attached dryer sheets, lint and stray pieces of clothing to myself.

I so wish I pics of these..

ReplyDeleteA group of us went to a costume ball as characters from the Wizard of Oz. I was the Lion :-)
A few years ago I got crafty. My BF and I went as Charlie Brown and Lucy and I made our costumes. Those are always more fun!

ReplyDeleteI don't have a blog so I fail and I don't have a link to a picture of me in a costume but the best costume of me to date was when I was Raggedy Ann because the dress was awesome and random and had nothing to do with Raggedy Ann lol!!!
ReplyDeleteOK, I'm a new follower.
ReplyDeleteThat Halloween costume one is a tough one...we have a family theme every year, so I've been Cruella de Vil, the cat in the hat, Glinda the good witch, Cyndi Lauper...the list goes on. I think my favorite was Jasmine from Aladdin because the costume was a beautiful one.

3. Best costume was probably the year I was a mermaid, even though it was a totally lame idea, I sewed my own costume, which was a floor length dress and I handsewed bajillions of those sprakly pailettes all over it.
4. Photo is in a box somewhere and it has my creepy ex in it, who was dressed as Xena. Um, okkk...
And to clarify #4: The photo is in a box somewhere, my ex isn't in a box somewhere.
ReplyDeleteI'm a follower and I must have the Hello Kitty socks. Super cute.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite costume was a gyspy in grade school. If I can find it, I'm definitely posting it.
ReplyDeleteI'm a new follower.
ReplyDeleteI love Halloween. Best costume ever was a mermaid costume my mom made out of a green glittery dress from the Goodwill. She used a door mat sewn into the dress to make the fins. Then she glued sand to a piece of plywood and laid sea shells on it. She put that on top of a wagon and pulled me around, because mermaids don't walk of course. It was great.
ReplyDeleteFollowing!!!
ReplyDeleteand I'll post in my blog too. :)
Just found your blog, and just became a followed :) Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteOoo costumes, I spend way too much of time my time in those! (and by too much, I actually mean not enough) My favourite was probably when I was kid, I dressed up as a Christmas tree and hung ornaments all over myself. I thought it was pretty clever...
ReplyDeleteI don't have a picture of that costume because I was a kid, but here was a recent favourite from last year, when I was a wood sprite:

ReplyDeleteBest halloween costume was last year. I was the queen of hearts. Hosted my own Alice in Wonderland Party. I loved my costume. My bf was the evil/crazy mad hatter. Sad part was I got so drunk within like the first 2 hours of my own party that I passed out on my bathroom floor. I must rewear another year.
ReplyDeleteHere's a link to my FB album of my awesome halloween party. I forgot to say that I even dressed up one of my dogs as the rabbit. Yea i'm evil. But he looked so cute!

Woohoo! Follower #119! 19 is a lucky number for me.

Ohmygosh, I seriously drop hundreds, maybe even a thousand or two at Target EVERY year. It's such a hazard to my wallet.
ReplyDeleteOh, and I posted this on my blog.
http://www.runzoerun.com/p/giveaways.html
Hmmm. My best Halloween costume was probably my last minute one (a zombie/ghoul college graduate) from last year. I was 9 months preggo and didn't think I would make it to Halloween, so I didn't buy anything. So instead I took my old cap and gown, put a bunch of "dead" looking makeup on my face and I was a zombie. ;)
ReplyDeleteFollower!!!
ReplyDeleteMy best Halloween costume would have to be a Coke Machine. I was maybe 10 and my dad made the machine out of a refridgerator box. It looked SO real. I think it was my favorite because my sister had one too and someone scared her. She fell backwards in the box, squirmed out of the box and sprinted home. Funny memories. : )
ReplyDeleteI just became a follower because I saw your super duper giveaway on someone else's blog. I enjoy your humor already!! My best Halloween costume - my husband and I dress up as Bert and Ernie. It was AWESOME!! I hope that link will work. I was also Flo from the Progressive commercials last year, which I thought was pretty clever until I saw several other Flo's.

ReplyDeleteI had one Halloween where I was a mummy. My parents wrapped me in toilet paper. Very creative. Throughout trick or treating I slowly unrolled and left a trail of toilet paper in my wake.
ReplyDeleteUm. I was once a harem girl, like jasmine in aladdin with a homemade costume and everything. Sexy, right? I was 8 YEARS OLD. I guess I was a perv even then.

ReplyDeleteBest halloween costume...I'll need to upload the picture. My mom made me a Raggedy Ann costume when I was about 5 I think, and it was a pretty sweet deal until it started raining...did I mention the hair was made out of red crepe paper? By the time I got home, I looked more like Chucky. Oops.
ReplyDeleteOh, my husband (then boyfriend) and I went to Mardi Gras in homemade Ghostbuster costumes (I made the proton packs out of PVC pipe and pie tins...no joke), but that's Mardi Gras so I didn't think it'd count.
