Cheat Day Extravaganza

So, Saturday was my cheat day. OH YEAH.

I started the morning with a delicious cranberry turtle bar (from the bake sale a few weeks ago).

Now there are only two left, which is SAD.

This is me eating the bar. I have no idea why I took this picture.

Next up, trail mix. It was meh. The only good part was the chocolate covered espresso beans. I should have just bought a bag of those.

Since it was a cheat day, I opted for some junk reading, too.

Then I made some date balls (recipe to come in future post), ate some girl scout cookies (5 total), ate a lik-a-stik, made some eggs, and ate a piece of chocolate. I was too busy eating to take pictures.

Then it was time for the main even of the day. BBQ RIBS. Since it was BBQ, I felt my cowboy boots were appropriate.

My ribs and beans (plus I had an iced tea with SUGAR).

Alternatively:

Sky eating ribs, mafia style.

Andrew playing with rib bones.

Vampire:

Zoidberg:

It's clear that I don't really crave wheat. No need for pasta or bread or anything like that. Cheating for me is all about the sugar. Sweet, sweet sugar. Mmmmmmmmmmm.

  1. Cranberry turtle bar?!? I hate you for making me think of such a thing while I am stuck at work.

the ribs, I'll pass on those. However, when I was just a wee child I loved me some of my papa's ribs. He made the best damn ribs in America (that's what he told us anyhow).

I love cheat days. Crap, every day is a cheat day for me! I need to work on that.

  8. I love cheat days! They are the best. Although, training for a marathon, I have to remind myself that not every day can be a cheat day. :)
